What is RB Digital?
RBDigital is a service provided by the Walpole Public Library to library card holders. You can browse, download and read current and past issues of popular magazines. Download or stream as many magazines as you'd like - and keep them as long as you'd like. View, stream, download your magazines on your desktop computer, or install the RBDigital mobile app on your tablet or smartphone.
How do I sign up?
Go to https://www.rbdigital.com/50emagazine/service/magazines/landing?. You'll need to create a new account, and during that process you'll be asked to enter a valid Walpole library card number, provide a valid email address and set up a password.
How do I "borrow" items?
Once you create your RBDigital account and log into the website or set up the RBDigital app (see below), the library's collection of magazines will appear on the screen. Select the magazine and the current or past issue that you'd like, and click the cover to check it out.
Can I download / borrow as many items as I want?
Yes! You can borrow as many magazine issues as you'd like, and keep them for as long as you'd like.
How do I return (delete) magazines that I've finished with?
If you've logged into the RBDigital website, find and click on the link entitled "My Collection". Here's you'll see the covers of all the magazines you have borrowed, and towards the bottom of each cover will be a small garbage can icon. Click on that to delete (return) the magazine issue.
If you're using the RBDigital app on your tablet or smartphone, use the menu to select "Checked Out". The next screen will show the ocvers of all issues you've checked out. Click the small "x" in the upper right of each magazine cover image to return (delete) that issue.
How do I borrow and download or stream items on my tablet or smartphone?
You'll need to install the app for your device. Search for the RBDigital app in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and either create a new account or, if you already have an account, log into the app using the credentials that you previously created.
